A crescent moon isn't a sliver of the moon — it's the whole moon, exactly as round and complete as it is at full phase. What changes is only how much of its sunlit half faces Earth at that moment; the rest is still there, simply turned away from the light.

That's the part usually missed: what looks partial is actually whole, caught at an angle where most of it falls into shadow.

This ring works from the same idea. The diamond halo doesn't close fully around the tanzanite — it wraps only part of the way, the same partial arc a crescent moon traces across the sky. The tanzanite itself is pleochroic, meaning it shifts between blue and violet, depending on the angle it's viewed from — so the stone is never showing its full color range at once, only the slice visible from wherever you're standing, the same logic written into the ring's shape.

The band is hand-hammered, each facet struck individually rather than machine-finished smooth, so no two catch the light exactly the same way. Called Crescent, this ring holds onto that one fact about the moon: nothing about it is ever incomplete, only partly seen.
