Homer called her rhododaktylos — rosy-fingered — the dawn goddess who reaches across the sky each morning before the sun itself appears. In Greek myth, she isn't the light at its fullest; she's the one who opens the gates for it, hours before anyone asks her to.
Myth remembers her as a herald, a lesser role next to her brother Helios, the sun. We call it going first — doing the work of turning night into day without waiting to be told the day was worth beginning.
The Composition:
- central gemstone: natural imperial topaz, 0.98 ct, 9 x 5.3 mm, pear cut
- accent diamonds: lab grown, VS clarity, G colour, 0.47 ct total.
- accents: natural orange sapphires, 0.09 ct total
