A nacelle is the fitted housing built around an aircraft or spacecraft engine — shaped to the exact contours of what it holds, close enough to cut drag while still leaving room for the machinery inside to function.

That precision is the whole purpose of the form: the housing exists because the engine needs a structure built to its exact measure, and the shape follows from that need rather than from any separate idea of style.

This ring is built the same way. The baguette diamonds lock in panel by panel, following the stone's stepped hexagonal outline exactly, the way a housing follows the shape of what it's built to hold. The small round stones set at the corners read like fixture points on a real casing, load-bearing rather than decorative.

At the center, the teal stone sits the way an engine sits inside its nacelle: the reason the whole structure exists, held in place by a frame built to its precise measure.

Comes as a set of two perfectly stacking rings.

The Composition:

• central sapphire: hexagon cut, natural and untreated, VVS clarity, 0.65 ct. 
• accent sapphires: round cut, teal colour, natural and untreated, 0.19 ct
• diamonds: lab-grown: VS clarity, 0.25 ct
