In mathematics and physics, delta (Δ) is the symbol used to mark change — the measured difference between two values, like a starting velocity and an ending one, or a temperature before and after. It always describes the gap between two states, calculated as precisely as either value on its own.

That gap counts as real information, worth naming and measuring in its own right.

This ring is built on the same idea. The band forms two distinct planes, offset in height, each reading as its own fixed state. The triangular stone sits bezel-set exactly at the seam between them, marking the measured difference the way Δ marks it in an equation — the record of the shift from one plane to the other.

Called Delta, the ring holds that same function: a single point where a change becomes visible and precise.
